Friesians Organizations Their are five Friesian registration organizations. The original, Het Friesch Paarden-Stamboek, only registers full bred Friesians and they maintain very strict standards for approving stallions. Only a very small percentage of stallions are approved. The original is Het Friesch Paarden-Stamboek(FPS). Its goal is to promote the Friesian horse breed and to monitor its quality The second is the Frie1sian Horse Breeding Association in Germany, Friesenpferde-Zuchtverband. promote and preserve the beautiful Friesian horse through strict registration standards. they allow the registration of crossbred Friesians. A third independent registry has started in North America, Friesians of America (FOA). It too allows for crossbred Friesians. Fourth is the Friesian Blood Horse Registry. They provide a professional, legitimate registry for qualified Friesian crossbred horses. Friesian Sport Horse Registry is an association of breeders, owners and friends dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Friesian Sport Horse. Open to crossbred Friesians.
