Torden's Call to Action

Friesian Stallion Missing

Mar. 2008

Freedom's owner is frantic! When a friendship ended badly in Jan 2008, her "friend" took her horse. April has been told that Freedom was sold at auction on March 15, 2008 - but she doesn't know where!

Please help April find the horse of her dreams! He may have been sold with papers, but they were not legal! The papers were in April's name.

Velvet

Update Jan. 10, 2007

Surgery was done and Velvet is starting to eat. Thank you for all your support, but she is not out of the woods yet. She is still very sick and can get laminitis, so keep her in your prayers. I started a blog as there is so much going on with helping her. It has updates as they come in and lists auctions that are donated to help raise funds to pay for her medical care. Visit LittleVelvet Blog to see it all.

January 7, 2007

Due to the efforts and fast action of a sister-in-horses, this cute as a button, mini-horse got the surgery she desperately needed!

Velvet is recovering from colic surgery at Colorado State University as of Jan 7, 2007. The original owners were unable to pay for her surgery and signed her over to one of the vet techs at a local vet office so she could race the little mare to surgery. Driving through the bad snow conditions and almost wrecking from near-by vehicles panic-stopping, this cute little fuzzball made it to CSU. The surgery cost $4,000 for sand colic.

If you can help pay this bill please contact Julie at DasGus @ msn.com [take the spaces out of the email name]. Arrangements can be made to have your payments sent directly to CSU. Any dollar amount will help!

I have sent some books to be sold on ebay for Velvet. Please check http://stores.ebay.com/Julies-Teddy-Bear-Boutique
